Effective date: October 4, 2026. By downloading or using the Met app, you agree to these terms.
Met is a contact capture and relationship management app for iOS, operated by Met ("we", "us"). Met helps you capture people you meet, add context, and draft follow-up messages. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Met app and any related services.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Met. By using Met, you confirm you meet this requirement.
You may sign in via Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@sailquery.com.
Met offers a free tier that includes:
Free tier limits are per account and apply to the lifetime of the account unless reset by an active Pro subscription. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice.
Met Pro is a paid subscription that removes capture and follow-up draft limits. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store:
Prices are current as of the effective date above; the App Store always displays the exact price at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.
You agree not to use Met to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The contacts you capture are mostly people who don't use Met. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to capture and keep their details, such as their giving you their card, and for honoring requests to delete them. Don't capture special categories of information (for example health, religion or financial account details) in notes. If you allow it, Met sends contact details to OpenAI as described in the Privacy Policy.
Met can use OpenAI, a third-party AI service, to clean up scanned contact details and to write follow-up drafts. Met asks for your permission first, and you can turn this off in Settings; the Privacy Policy lists exactly what is sent.
Parsed details and drafts are automated suggestions and can be wrong. Check contact details before saving them and read every message before you send it. You are responsible for messages you send from Met.
You retain ownership of the contact information, notes, and drafts you create in Met. By using Met, you grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate the service, for example, to store and transmit your data to generate follow-up drafts.
Met works with Apple (Sign in with Apple, iCloud, Contacts, Calendar), Google (Sign in with Google) and OpenAI (scan clean-up and follow-up drafts, with your permission). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Met is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular business outcome, reply rate, or deal result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Met's total liability to you for any claims arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by updating this page. Continued use of Met after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
The following applies if you obtained Met through Apple's App Store, in addition to the terms above.
